MATTHEW L. BRINTON

Attorney

Matthew Brinton, a DePaul and Southwestern Law alum, has practiced law since 2012. In 2016, he founded The Brinton Firm to address the vast underrepresentation of tenants' rights. Today, it’s the leading tenants' rights firm in Southern California, recovering over $10M for Los Angeles tenants in recent years. Matt has been named a California Super Lawyer three years in a row.

In his spare time, he enjoys collecting rare books and whiskies—both typically in moderation.

nick solish

Attorney

Nick Solish, a trial attorney and graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, has managed high-stakes cases, including defending an online auction house against the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Nick has won three trials and helped secure a multi-million dollar property interest for a client. He also exposed forgery in a property deal and achieved a substantial settlement for tenants affected by mold in Santa Monica. In his free time, Nick enjoys playing guitar, gardening, and spending time with his family.

Legal Office Director

Cendy joined The Brinton Firm in 2022, bringing her background in the arts and experience with top fashion houses into her role as Office Director. She oversees daily operations, fosters a supportive team environment, and encourages professional growth among staff. With a focus on client success, Cendy’s leadership keeps the firm running smoothly and efficiently.

ERIKA T.

Paralegal

Erika is a paralegal for The Brinton Firm. She previously worked with students of various ages in her San Pedro community. In 2014, Erika moved from a small town in the central valley of California to pursue her education. She graduated from Marymount California University in 2018 where she obtained her BA in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Psychology & American Studies. Prior to getting hired at the Brinton Law Firm, she worked at the Boys and Girls Club.

Paralegal

Vivian joined The Brinton firm in 2022 as a paralegal. She graduated from the University of Riverside in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in Public Policy.  Prior to working at The Brinton Firm, Vivian was a legal secretary handling workers comp cases.
